The department of pediatrics is has 60 beds that are divided into ICU, medical ward and emergency wards. The nursery has 5 warmers, 8 cots and 3 incubators. General outpatients are seen three days a week and vaccination clinic is open every day. Special OPD days are allocated to diabetes, neonatology, nephrology and tuberculosis.

·?????Air compressor to deal with premature babies. Recently the paediatirc and the eye department have started a joint ROP programme.
Due to its proximity to the neurosurgery referral unit the paed department sees a lot of children with cerebral palsies.
?Teaching and training programs for post graduate residents are being taught for FCPS, MCPS, MD Peads and DCH.
Monthly pre-natal meeting and guest lectures are also held to facilitate interactive learning and exposure to both staff and residents.
